Overview

The Advanced Certificate in Leadership Management program will enhance their ability to manage with competence and lead for personal and organisational success.

Entry Pre-requisites

  • GCE 'N' / 'O' Level or Certificate Level or its equivalent; OR

  • Able to listen and speak simple phrases in English / Mandarin; OR

  • Able to read, write and interpret simple instructions in English / Mandarin

 

Course Structure

Manage works team

 

This module equips participants with skills to resolve staff performance issue and conflict. It also focuses on supervising and delegating staff.

Recruit, Select and Induct staff 

This module equips participants with skills to ensure their organisation attract quality employees to meet their organisation guidelines.

Monitor Income and Expenses

 

This module provides knowledge and application skills in monitoring income & expenses and P&L control systems.

Monitor Marketing Strategies

 

This module is to acquaint students with the skills in evaluating marketing performance, oversee promotional strategies and loyalty programmes.

Delivery method

We use a number of experiential methods of learning in this module:

  • Lectures

  • Experiential learning and practical role-plays

  • Real life examples and group discussions

 

Assessments

Participants are required to undertake assessments which may take the form of:

  • Formative assessment

  • Summative assessment 

 

Duration

2 month (40 hrs)

 

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded with an Advanced Certificate in Leadership Management issued by Guilford Training Centre Pte Ltd. Participants are deemed to have successfully completed the course if they meet the competency standards for each of the four units in the course outline above.
